Love is a beautiful experience; it makes us smile, makes us feel wonderful and gives us positive energy. Love can come from within you (And it first MUST come from within you! Want to know how? Click Here) and love can also come from other people & the world.
When we get and feel love, Teacher Emil recommends sharing that feeling and experience. Especially with those who give us their love.
It is a part of being grateful, appreciative and kind. There are a few ways to show love to others. Here are a few ideas…
a. Reply with, “I love you too”
When a family member or your best friend tells you, “You know what? I love you”, you can always reply with, “I love you too”. When you acknowledge and reciprocate; you are also sharing the love that you have received and you are also letting them know that their love is being appreciated.
b. Offer Help to People We Love
Offering to help our family and friends is also a sign of love, care and kindness. Even if you are only capable of helping the smallest of tasks; by offering your help, the receiver sees and know that you want to play a part in their duties and activities.
Plus, by helping others, you are also helping yourself to cultivate the values of having initiative, being brave, and being kind.
c. Invite Others To Join Our Activities
What better way to show you care and that you love somebody than to invite him or her to be a part of an activity or exercise that you enjoy and value. In addition to letting them know that you want to share in the experience; you will also be improving your relationship, build the trust between yourselves, and enhance your communication/collaboration skills.
d. Get To Know Them Better!
Do you know everything about the people you love, and who loves you?
Ask them questions about their lives, their experiences, their childhood, their past, and their goals & aspirations for the future.
Love has no boundaries and no time limits; it can continue to grow beyond the stars. Which means; there is always something to learn from the ones we love to make the love stronger.
e. Chart & Achieve a Common Goal
What does this mean?
Well, why not ask the people you love if you could set a goal to achieve something together? For example; you may ask your mummy if there is any place that she would like to visit, and if that would be where you would like to go too! Or perhaps something you both may want to get for your house.
Then, together, figure out how you may be able to achieve that goal, and then make the plans to get it!
f. Write a Love Letter!
Or… simply write a Love Letter!
This letter can be a simple piece of paper with a drawing of a heart and the words, “I Love You!”. Or it can be a card with more words for you to write the reasons that you love that person.
THAT’S NOT ALL!
Why not make an Action Plan poster to turn your love into an adventure!
Teacher Emil has created an “I Love You’ Action Plan poster that you may get for just $1… Click Here to check it out!
Meanwhile; give love as much as you get love!
Stay awesome kids; and see you soon!
Much love, Teacher Emil
